The West lab is pursuing a new research project that aims to preserve endangered species. Through the Georgia Funder, we are hoping to raise funds that can save the Clouded Leopard and Sumatran Tiger from extinction through stem cell technology.

Utilizing an innovative and groundbreaking approach developed in our lab, we can take a small skin sample from a live or recently deceased animal and turn the skin into stem cells and then into sperm. This sperm can then be used in breeding programs so those invaluable genetics are not lost forever. Thanks for looking and thinking about supporting our cause.
