Holly is from Cumming, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S.A in Animal and Dairy Science.

Holly is currently studying the effect of neural stem cells (NSC) in traumatic brain injury models. She is studying the ability of these cells to reduce secondary injury and to integrate into the brain and regenerate the damaged tissue. She is also assessing the ability of NSCs transplantation to improve motor function, learning, and memory.
