Taylor H. LePage is a PhD student in the Regenerative Bioscience Program at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on the therapeutic potential of neural stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (NSC EVs) for treating traumatic brain injury (TBI), particularly in pediatric populations.
Taylor’s work utilizes a clinically relevant pediatric swine model of TBI to evaluate the efficacy of NSC EVs in promoting neuroprotection and repair. Her studies aim to characterize histological outcomes following injury and treatment, with the goal of advancing extracellular vesicle-based therapies toward translational applications in neurotrauma.
She earned her BSA in Animal Science from the University of Georgia in May 2022.
Outside of the lab, Taylor enjoys hiking, cooking and baking, and spending time with her many animals.
